What ChannelVerity does
ChannelVerity researches places to market a product — podcasts, newsletters, communities, events, directories and others — and checks each one against its own live source at the time a report is built. A report is research to help you decide where to spend your time. It is not a promise that any place will accept you, reply to you, or bring you customers.
Your account
You need an account to build reports. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. You must be at least 16 and able to agree to these terms for yourself or for the business you represent.
Credits and payment
- Reports and some research actions use credits. Reading, sharing and exporting reports you own does not.
- Credits are bought in packs or come with the membership. They never expire while your account exists.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account.
- The membership is $30 a month, billed monthly by Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your billing page; it runs to the end of the paid month.
- Payments are final and we do not refund money. Credits come back automatically when a report fails or finds fewer than 15 verified places — see the refund policy.
How you may use it
- Reports are yours to use for your own business, and to share using the share link.
- Do not scrape, copy or resell the service or its data in bulk, probe it for weaknesses, or use it in a way that harms it or other people.
- Contacting the places in a report is up to you, and so is doing it lawfully — including anti-spam and privacy law where you and they are. Be the kind of person a host is glad to hear from.
Accuracy
We check every place when a report is built and say when each fact was confirmed, but the web changes: shows stop, prices change, pages move. Prices are quoted from the place’s own pages and may be out of date. Judgements about whether a place reaches your buyer are made by an AI model and labelled as such. Check anything important before you rely on it.
Other people’s sites
Reports link to sites and services we do not run. Their terms and prices are theirs. ChannelVerity uses YouTube API Services; by using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
What belongs to whom
What you give us — your descriptions, notes and statuses — stays yours. The service, its design, and the verified directory of places it builds over time belong to ChannelVerity.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your reports and sign-in are removed, a membership is cancelled straight away, and unused credits end with the account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Liability
ChannelVerity is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; if a change matters, we will tell account holders by email before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Ohio, United States. Questions go to hello@channelverity.com.
